テレサ・テン（Teresa Teng）

テレサ・テンは、台湾を代表する歌手の一人である。1970年代から1990年代にかけて、母国中華民国のみならず香港・マカオを含む中華文化圏全域ないし日本なども含めた東アジア文化圏ならびにその他の地域において広く人気を博したその業績から、生前から没後も「アジアの歌姫」と呼ばれている。

"Teresa Teng" is one of Taiwan's representative singers, and has been called "Asia's diva" from her birth to her death for her achievements from the 1970s to the 1990s, when she gained popularity not only in her native Republic of China but also in the entire Chinese cultural sphere, including Hong Kong and Macau, as well as in East Asia, including Japan, and other regions. She has been called "Asia's diva" both in her lifetime and after her death.
