1972年フォークシンガーでデビュー、伸びのある声量で、最もヒットした彼女の曲「恋人よ」は1980年代に最も東南アジアで歌われた日本の曲である。現在日本で売れているシンガーソングライターで俳優の「福山雅治」が2023年放送の「日本横断弾丸グルメツアー」という番組で彼女の歌のうまさをを絶賛している。
She debuted as a folk singer in 1972, and her hit song “MY DEAR LOVER”, popular for its elongated voice, was the most sung Japanese song in Southeast Asia in the 1980s. Today, the famous Japanese singer-songwriter and actor Masaharu Fukuyama praised her singing ability in his “Bullet Gourmet Tour Across Japan” broadcast in 2023.
